Abstract: Systems of PDEs describing the bilogical phenomenon of chemotaxis can produce solutions undergoing blow-up in finite time. On the other hand, logistic models of population growth ten d to feature solutions stabilizing to a constant state. In these introductory lecturers we will considerer the situation where these two effects meet and review some results concerning chemotaxis models with logistic growth.
