Some inverse problems with applications in Elastography: theoretical and numerical aspects

In this talk we will consider geometric inverse problem for some PDEs motivated by Elastography. We will present several recent results and open questions concerning the reconstruction of the unknown domain where the equations evolve. Theoretical and numerical aspects associated to this problem will be considered. In the numerical experiments, we will solve an appropriate optimization problems and present some numerical results in the 2D and 3D cases.
