Description
The International Conference on Operations Research 2017 took place at the campus of Freie Universität Berlin from Sep 6- 8. The conference is the yearly meeting of the German Operations Research Society. With 910 participants from 46 different countries, it was the largest OR ever.
In this year, the conference motto was "decision analytics for the digital economy". With 595 talks in 212 session of 21 parallel streams, and 22 industrial sponsors that supported the conference's business track, the exhibition, 5 preconference workshops, and two hackathons, OR offered ample opportunities to discuss and experience the latest academic and commercial trends in the field.
